To guard against the frozen young buds of mushrooms in the winter

Freshly emerged mushroom buds have the poorest ability to adapt to external harsh environments. Too high temperatures, too low temperatures, too dry air, cold winds, and exhaust gas pollution can all lead to the death of mushroom buds. The recent cold wave struck, the temperature dropped, and we must pay particular attention to the cultivation of young buds of mushrooms. Its main measures:

1. Grasp the mushroom shed warming and heat preservation. The buds of shiitake mushrooms that have just been released from the mushroom pocket are most afraid of freezing. If the temperature drops below 5°C, it will cause soft death of the buds for several days. If the temperature is lower than 0°C, the buds will be more likely to be frozen. dead. The lowest temperature of this round of cooling is below 0°C, so it is more important to pay attention to the temperature increase and insulation of the mushroom shed. First, the agricultural film covering the mushroom shed is sealed tightly, blocking the gap and minimizing the loss of heat; the second is to cover the plastic mulch, straw mulch, and shade net outside the mushroom shed, and the third is to add the mulch on the underside of the mushroom shed. The fourth is to use corn stalks, reed stalks, etc. on the windward side of the shed to build a windbreak to block the cold wind; Fifth, to take timely heating measures, and to heat the biomass stove inside the shed; Is to reduce the number of times into the mushroom shed; Seven is to clear the shed area snow in time after heavy snowfall. However, when warming up, care should be taken to keep the temperature within the mushroom shed at 15°C as much as possible, preferably not exceeding 20°C. If the local temperature in the shed is too high, it will also lead to yellowing and death.

2. Maintain suitable humidity in the shed. Mushroom young buds are particularly afraid of dryness in addition to fear of freezing, air relative humidity should be maintained at 85% to 95%, too low is likely to cause mushroom buds to die. The warming in the mushroom shed in winter can easily cause the air in the shed to be too dry. Therefore, at the same time of increasing the temperature, care should be taken to maintain the humidity in the shed. One is that water can be sprayed into the shed to increase the humidity; the other is the use of warm water vapor to increase the humidity in the mushroom shed.

3. Prevent cold wind from entering the shed. Mushroom young buds are still afraid of the wind, cold wind directly attacks the mushroom buds more easily lead to its death. Therefore, when the cold wave comes, it is necessary to add a windbreak, close the film, plug the gap, and at the same time avoid frequent opening of the mushroom shed to prevent the cold wind from intruding into the shed. If air ventilation is required, it must be carried out when there is no wind, and the film should be closed in a short time after the film is removed to keep the environment stable and suitable for the shed.

4. Pay attention to the discharge of harmful gases. To warm up in the shed during the cold wave, harmful gases such as carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide and carbon monoxide generated from the combustion of firewood and coal must be managed to be discharged outside the shed through a closed flue. Otherwise, harmful gases can accumulate in the shed and cause poisoning of young mushrooms. . In addition, the mushroom shed must be ventilated regularly to remove harmful gases that accumulate in the shed so that the mushroom buds can grow robustly.
