Adjustment of the friction belt of the vacuum filter 1. If the friction belt starts to sag between the rotary bracket and the tape wheel, tension is applied to the tape by the elastic adjustment lever and the nut to increase the tension of the friction belt. Refer to the vacuum box assembly drawing. The tape should be properly tensioned so that it does not wrap when the winding unit is turned to the vacuum box. The tape should have a small sag between the two supports. Do not pull the tape too tightly.

2. If the hardband is rewinding or deviating from its guide along the crimping device or along the vacuum box, stop the friction belt as soon as possible. This may require lowering the vacuum box. If there is a damage, replace the friction belt.
