Butterfly breeding technology

China is rich in butterfly resources, and there are many rare species in the world. The timely development of artificial breeding of butterflies has a broad market prospect and is a good project for getting rich. Now we will introduce the artificial breeding butterfly and processing technology.

First, the production of breeding cages. Use wood or bamboo poles to grow wooden or bamboo frames that are 2m wide, 1.5m wide, and 1.8m high. Use 16 to 18 mesh nylon gauze or iron yarn to cover the six sides, leaving a breeding window for easy operation and to prevent the escape of butterflies.

Second, introduce spawning hatching. You can go to the butterfly farms that have rare breeds to purchase or spring season to collect the adults, larvae, pupa and eggs of rare butterflies. Place adults, larvae, cockroaches, or eggs in butterfly cages. For female butterflies mated in the wild, suitable spawning grounds such as folded paper strips, strawgrass, gauze, etc. should be prepared for the spawning of the female butterflies according to their different habits. Pay attention to moisturizing during the spawning period and spray some water into the cage every day. After a certain period of time, the eggs hatch into larvae.

Third, butterfly larvae rearing. Most butterfly larvae feed on the leaves, stems and flowers of plants. Fresh leaves, stems, flowers and plants can be collected and the stems inserted into the water tank to keep them fresh for larvae to feed directly. To ensure that larvae develop normally, it is advisable to grow 10 to 20 eggs per square meter, and insects that have mutual killing habits can be kept separately. The larvae develop into pupa after 5 to 6 years of age. When the larvae are about to phlegm, put in shrunken paper pellets and stalks to meet the habit of larvae. Place them in a dark, damp soil heap to emerge as adults.

Fourth, butterfly (ie adult) feeding and management. The growing butterfly needs to provide enough food, including natural food and artificial feed. Water, honey syrup, syrup, milk, etc. are commonly used liquid food materials. The concentration of sugar or honey juice fed by butterflies is 3% to 10%. The liquid food material may be directly put into a cup, a saucer or the like, or absorbent cotton wool, absorbent gauze, etc. may be soaked in the liquid food material and then put into the serving container. The simple method is to put the feed liquid into a bottle, and then put the bottle in a glassware with absorbent paper or absorbent cotton on the bottom to feed the butterfly. The artificial feed can be made of sucrose, glucose, dry yeast, cabbage leaves, etc., and the preservatives are added in a certain proportion after being mixed and formulated, and the feeding effect is also good.
