New series of wirewound resistors for medical electronics and high-end audio
Recently, Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. announced the launch of a new series of non-magnetic, non-inductive axial lead wirewound resistors for medical imaging equipment and high-end audio---MRA series, with a power rating of up to 12W at +350°C Work at high temperatures. The VishayMillsMRA family of devices from the VishayDale Resistor Division uses a non-inductive and all-welded construction for RF and op amp applications that greatly enhances frequency response. Combined with the non-inductive Ayrton-Perry coil, the device has almost no inductive reactance and signal loss. The resistance has a power rating of 4W to 12W at 25 ° C, a temperature range of -65 ° C to +250 ° C (characteristic U), and -65 ° C to +350 ° C (characteristic V). The device has a resistance of 0.01Ω to 85.0kΩ, tolerances of ±1%, ±5%, and ±10%, devices with resistances less than 0.99Ω have a TCR of ±90ppm/°C, and devices with 1.0Ω to 9.9Ω are ±50ppm. /°C, 10Ω and above devices are ±30ppm/°C. The MRA resistors are RoHS compliant and Vishay green. Samples and production quantities of the MRA series are available now, with lead times of six to eight weeks for larger orders.
