If laying hens are overweight, they must limit their rearing. Restricted feeding is divided into two methods: limiting feed volume and limiting feed quality. In order to save feed costs, some farms (households) have improperly reared young chickens, resulting in poor performance of the chickens in the future and even affecting the economic benefits of chickens for a lifetime, resulting in irreversible economic losses. . The problems that should be noticed in keeping chickens restricted are as follows:

Organize the flock. Before the restriction of feeding, care should be taken to pick out those chickens that are underweight or have too weak a system in time, and do not participate in feeding restrictions so as to avoid death.

Timely faults. Before the feed restriction, we must promptly break the bowl to prevent bruising and feed waste.

Control lighting. In addition to natural lighting, artificial lighting cannot be artificially increased during feed restriction to prevent sexual maturity of laying hens and affect future high-yield and stable production.

Limit drinking water. Limit the feeding should be appropriate drinking water to prevent excessive diarrhea due to drinking water. How much water is limited depends on the temperature. Under normal circumstances, drinking water for 1 hour in the morning and in the afternoon, the number of drinking water can be appropriately increased in hot weather.

Weigh it in time. Feed-restricted chickens should be weighed one by one after 16 weeks of age. Overweight chickens should reduce the amount of feed, and lighter chickens should increase feeds appropriately to keep the chicken population uniform.

In addition, when epidemic prevention, swarming and flocks become ill, the restriction of feed should be suspended until after the constitution is restored and the feed is limited as appropriate.
