1. Antihypertensive effect of Vitex negundo has obvious antihypertensive effect, its antihypertensive effect is related to the excitatory centrally induced parasympathetic nervous system. Experiments have shown that the water extract of Moniliforme has the effect of lowering blood pressure in rabbits. This effect can be counteracted by atropine and Chlorisondamine, enhanced by physostigmine, and slightly enhanced by Betanidine. Not affected by propranolol or Cyproheptadine.

2. Analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects of methanol extract from Morinda citrifolia fruit has inhibitory effects on the acetic acid writhing response in mice; it also can increase the pain caused by hot plate in mice.
