The National Health and Family Planning Commission released eight "hand-painted" flow charts for graded medical treatment

Graded diagnosis and treatment is the "main theme" of the current medical reform, and has begun to implement from "saying" to "doing." So what should be done with graded care? Since February this year, the National Health and Family Planning Commission has initiated a grading diagnosis and treatment technology service program for coronary atherosclerotic heart disease and cerebrovascular disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, breast cancer, thyroid cancer and diabetic retinopathy.

In addition to various technical standards, the four programs should also pay attention to the two types of grading diagnosis and treatment service flow charts. And it seems that these figures are all "hand-painted" by the staff with a little bit of word, it is worth a good look.

Coronary heart disease and cerebrovascular disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, breast cancer and thyroid cancer all contain the same basic flow chart and their respective path maps, while diabetic retinopathy has only one specific path flow chart. . Next, let's take a look at the two pictures.

Figure 1: Cardiovascular disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, breast cancer and thyroid cancer service flow

First look at the brief situation of the three types of diseases:

According to the China Cardiovascular Report 2014, the prevalence of cardiovascular disease in China is on the rise. At present, it is estimated that there are 290 million cardiovascular patients in the country, including at least 7 million stroke patients and 2.5 million patients with myocardial infarction.

According to the National Health and Family Planning Commission's 2015 Report on Nutrition and Chronic Diseases of Chinese Residents, the prevalence of COPD in China's population aged 40 and over is about 9.9%.

According to the China Breast Diseases Investigation Report, the mortality rate of urban breast cancer in China increased by 38.9% from 2003 to 2009, and 84% of breast cancer patients did not pay attention to early examination and treatment, which delayed the timing of treatment. In 2010, there were about 250 million people with thyroid nodules in the country, including about 12.5 million thyroid cancer patients.

But all three diseases have a common feature, that is, early detection, early diagnosis, early treatment have a great impact on the results, and the course of disease is relatively long, requiring long-term disease management. For example, the 5-year survival rate of early breast cancer patients can reach 90%, while that of advanced breast cancer is less than 40%; for example, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease requires long-term treatment and management.

From this, we can see that primary health care institutions play a very important role in early crowd education, patient disease management, and early prevention and discovery. Detailed as shown below:
